Does the R.U.S.E. edition profile use one of the 5 available profile slots in the Xai software?

Yes, the profile comes pre-loaded in slot #1.  However, the profile can be moved to an alternate slot or removed from the mouse if desired.  If the profile is removed, it can be stored and added again at a later time.
