Frequently Asked Questions

My macros spam text in World of Warcraft instead of issuing game commands

If you are using the default copy and paste option to create macros, make sure that the bars above and below the text box do not have an ‘enter’ input. By default, there is an ‘enter’ input denoted by up/down arrows assigned to these macros. Alternatively, you can choose the ‘No Delay’ option to create your macros. If you are trying to use our software to create advanced text-based macros such as:

 /target self   (or)   /cast thunderstrike

We recommend that you do this using the macro manager in World of Warcraft itself. You can then assign the created macro to an Action bar or Side bar just as you would a normal spell or ability. Assign a key to the action bar where you’ve inserted the advanced macro and then create a macro to press this key in our WoW Mouse software for one-click advanced macros.

Our software functions using the macro system so creating these macros in our software will not immediately transport them into the game and trigger these abilities. Instead, it will issue the command by typing it out, albeit in a much faster manner than one would do by manually typing.
